Deltona Parade

Saturday the boys and I went to the Deltona Days Parade. It was a very cute parade with police and firetrucks, floats, marching bands, Mickey and Minnie Mouse and a bunch of people throwing candy. We brought Ty's list he wrote to Santa as the elves in the parade were collecting them from all the children to give to Santa. Then, of course, at the end was Santa riding on a big float. It was a great way to start off the holiday season!

Zoo Picnic

Last Sunday, Tyler's school had a church service and picnic at the zoo. The service was very sweet. The kids sat with their class and teachers up in the choir loft and sang praise songs. Then the pastor read a bible story and gave a little message. It was neat how they made it all about the kids. Nana, Papa and our friend Lauren and her baby Braylen joined us for the day.
After the service everyone met at the Central Florida Zoo for a picnic, and then we walked around the zoo. We had a really nice day, and it was beautiful weather!

Tuck, newest family member

Tyler's new pet, Tuck the turtle. He got it at the fair. He was so excited when I showed him the turtles. Then he realized you could buy them and he said, in the cutest voice ever, "Mommy, they're for saaaaale?" Then he showed Nana and of course, she obliged. Setting up the aquarium with Daddy

Halloween Party

Wes and I went to some friends' Halloween party last Saturday. As you may know, Mom made a Rainbow Bright constume for me when I was little. So we were both pretty excited when we came across this costume. Wes dressed as a psych ward patient with a crazy mask. We had a lot of fun!
